What do you think of when you think unions? They are a major part of U.S. history. They have helped workers in all sorts of industries get a fair shake in both the past and the present. They have also been associated with organized crime and other less than legal transactions. There is one union, The United Food and Commercial Workers Union or the UFCW, that has taken the lead for unions representing the cannabis industry.
Not all has gone perfectly either. One of the first companies that started working with them was Oaksterdam University in Oakland. I know there are lots of strong opinions out there about unions, so let’s hear it!
