Secret Prison Sex Happened Everywhere—Even During Visiting Hours
Prison sex wasn’t rare. It was everywhere. In this clip from Becoming the King of Pot, Bruce Perlowin, the drug kingpin behind one of the biggest marijuana smuggling operations in American history, describes how inmates found ways to hook up in corners of the prison most people would never imagine, even in the middle of visiting hours. Bruce makes a point of saying he was somewhere else while it was going on.
After his marijuana trafficking empire came crashing down, Bruce served years in federal prison, and his stories from inside are some of the most unfiltered in true crime. Hosted by Todd Denkin of TNMNews, BTKOP takes you from the weed money and smuggling stories of the 1970s and ’80s to the unwritten rules of prison life, told by the man who lived it.
