Hi everyone, I’m Christine Sclafani for The National Marijuana News.
I’m sure we can all agree that Rolling trays provide a flat surface to make rolling easier and help to keep you organized. Lighters, papers, and filters are small and easy to lose – but a tray ensures everything is in its place when you’re ready to roll. Trays also keep tables and other potential rolling spots from getting dirty and sticky over time. They also often end up paying for themselves by preventing you from losing weed that can easily spill all over your floor which only means wasted money!
So they help you save both your stash and your cash!
Their also a great way to show off who YOU are! There are many different ways to customize your tray that reflects your personality, and custom trays are a thoughtful personal gift idea for friends or family! No matter what you’re into, rolling trays are a valuable purchase, and there’s a tray out there for every smoker.
But before you purchase a tray, there are a few things to consider.
How much space do you need? How much do you roll? And What’s your budget? Asking yourself these questions will make it easier to navigate the wide range of trays on the market.
Most standard trays are rectangular, but you definitely aren’t limited to this shape. There’s a wide variety of different sizes and materials available, with each type suited to different needs.
Trays also vary in their complexity, ranging from simple, to no-nonsense trays to trays with multiple compartments and accessories. With all these options, you should have no problem finding the tray for you. Whether you want something functional and portable, or an eye-catching conversation starter, we’ve listed what we think are the best rolling trays currently available. If our choices aren’t for you, it’s still a great resource, to learn more about what trays are out there and where to find them.
Metal trays are durable and affordable, and a favorite of many smokers, coming in enough sizes and designs to complement any smoking setup. While they may not be as fancy or intricate as other types of trays, they are extremely functional and fun to collect. My favorite is the classic RAW rolling bundle or the Zig-Zag large metal rolling tray.
Wooden trays are often equipped with more elaborate features and details. They typically cost more than the average metal or plastic tray, but they often come with handy compartments for all your smoking accessories. Plain flat surface trays are less common in this material.
Trays such as the RAW bamboo rolling tray or the Marley(natural black)walnut tray are both high-quality options that will last for ages.
Plastic trays are the most affordable type of tray available and are the go-to for smokers on a budget. They’re less durable than other trays, but they are still perfectly functional. Some even have convenient compartments or storage space, and they’re extremely easy to travel with for rolling on the go. I’ve even seen plastic trays that double as an iPhone case for ultimate portability!
Skunk offers adorable trays that come with a storage space too.
Glass trays are some of the most eye-catching and visually pleasing trays on the market, and they’re usually made with durable and scratch-resistant glass. Unfortunately, they aren’t as portable as other options, so they may not be the best choice for more practical smokers. We recommend checking out the beautiful trays from V-syndicate……
Rolling trays are the ultimate accessory for those who love joints and are tired of wasting money on spilled weed.
