Weed Dispensary Architecture

Christine Sclafani talks about how the store designs for some of the dispensaries that have been popping up are pretty cool. She read an article about Theory Wellness in Massachusetts and how they have vines wrapped around some very fancy lighting systems. At Planet 13 in Las Vegas, the biggest dispensary in the world, they have a drone light show that happens right in the store. Please us know below what cool dispensaries you have checked out.

We can all see the weed industry just developing right in front of us. We went from shady back alley way deals, to back alleyway stores, to storefronts on main streets in some cities where there is plenty of foot traffic. Hi, it’s Christine Sclafani again for TNMNews and I think some of these store designs for dispensaries that have been popping up are pretty cool.

I read this article about Theory Wellness in Massachusetts. They have hanging vines wrapped around some very fancy overhead lighting systems. It looks like you are walking into a jewelry/beauty store situated in the jungle. At least, that is what I first thought when I looked at the pictures. At Planet 13 in Las Vegas, the biggest dispensary in the world, they have a drone light show that happens right in the store.

Of course the MedMen stores look like Apple Stores. If you think about it, cannabis dispensaries should inspire some pretty interesting architectural designs. The have the nature theme, but they can also go with an art theme, grunge theme, and well… I am not an architect, but I will look forward to seeing what else architects come up with for dispensary designs.
