Hey everybody it’s Richard Lowe with The National Marijuana News. I’m back at the CWCB Expo at the Javits Center in New York City. Right now I am joined by Todd Morrow the president of Hemp Meds. Thank you very much for joining me.
Very nice to meet you. Thank you for coming to see us this morning.
So, tell our followers a little about Hemp Meds and what you do.
Sure, so Hemp Meds is a subsidiary of Medical Marijuana Incorporated and the first publicly traded cannabis company in the United States. Hemp Meds was established in 2012 to become the first CBD pipeline and make CBD products legally available in the United States. So, we are very excited about that and very proud of our legacy. We offer a variety of CBD products from raw oils to tinctures, liquids, capsules, hair products, skin products. Our assortment really runs the gamut, we even have products for companion animals as well. We source all of our raw ingredients from a single 5th generation farm in Europe and we have done that since the very beginning which has allowed us to trade across state lines since the very beginning. We are looking for opportunities to expand and support agricultural here in the U.S. is certainly something that we are excited about.
We are here at the CWCB Expo, are you speaking? Tell us what brought you here to this expo.
So, we got some really exciting things going on at the expo this year. On Saturday our CEO Dr. Stuart Titus will be doing a talk on CBD and safety. So, we are very encouraged and excited about that opportunity. We are also equally excited about the launch of our new everyday wellness assortment of products here behind you. This is a new line of products for us for which we are incorporating strategic natural ingredients in with our very powerful CBD to help with some of our largest issues that consumers are experiencing today. So, we are launching the digestive support solution. We’ve got an immune support solution, a sleep support solution and a multivitamin gummy which has been something that consumers have been asking for, for sometime. So, we are very excited about the advancements. Innovations is something that is the core of who we are and what we do. So, really excited to bring these remarkable products to consumers and launching them at this show.
Let me ask you a question, are any of these flavored products?
Yes, there are. So the vitamin gummy is a mango based flavor. So, we did lots of testing and the mango flavor was the flavor that was loved the most by our consumers. The other functional or everyday wellness solutions are capsules and so you are not going to have much of a taste to those.
What about lab testing, are there lab testing reports that everybody can see when they go to your product pages?
Absolutely, so all of our products have been tested multiple times of course throughout the growing and the production process and then we publish certificates of analysis on all of our products that really show the customer exactly what is contained within our goods.
